Supporting Animal Welfare
The real heroes are those animals that have been hurt but continue to love us unconditionally
A LITTLE ABOUT US
Helping Hands SA was founded in October 2009 and with the help of a great support committee and followers we have been able to raise funds through various events and products sales in aid of animal welfare shelters in and around South Africa. We are firm believers and supporters of no-kill animal shelters and through our efforts not only do we raise funds but also bring awareness on the happenings within the animal world. We often hold casual social events where we get together with our furry babies and picnic where we can all get to know each other and make some forever friends.
WHAT MAKES OUR CAUSE SO IMPORTANT?
There are an unimaginable amount of animals that are suffering or are orphans in our shelters and these shelters need our help to continue to survive. Us as the community have to work together to help the animals who cannot speak for themselves.
Join the conversation with us and let's chat all about animals and so much more.
WHY ADOPT?
Because you'll save a life.
The number of euthanised animals could be reduced dramatically if more people adopted pets instead of buying them. When you adopt, you save a loving animal by making them part of your family and open up shelter space for another animal who might desperately need it.
PROVEG strives for a world where everyone chooses delicious and healthy food that is good for all humans, animals, and our planet. While moving to a more plant-based diet may seem like a challenge, practical information shows that plant-based living is easier and more convenient than ever before.
10 THINGS YOU OWE YOUR PET

These days, animal welfare organisations make doubly sure that you are able to be a responsible pet owner before they hand over a puppy, a kitten or a grown animal.
