We celebrate World Animal Day every year on October 4th. A day dedicated to celebrating all wildlife around the world and protecting animal rights and welfare.

The mission of World Animal Day is to raise the status of animals to improve welfare standards around the globe. Building the celebration of World Animal Day unites the animal welfare movement, mobilising it into a global force to make the world a better place for all animals.

It’s celebrated in different ways in every country, irrespective of nationality, religion, faith or political ideology. Through increased awareness and education we can create a world where animals are always recognized as sentient beings and full regard is always paid to their welfare.

All animals play a key role in environmental protection and human wellness. Some animals help us to bring out the nutrients from the cycle, while some animals help in the decomposition, carbon, and nitrogen cycle.

All animals and plants in the ecosystem co-exist and balance each other without taking the ecological balance off. Thus, to raise awareness about improving the welfare standards of animals across the globe World Animal Day is celebrated annually.
